What size air compressor to use with air roof nail gun?

all roof nail guns say i need 7cfm @90psi . i looked at lowes home depot and harbor frieght and i do not see any compressors that rate near that high. i prefer an answer from someone that does this work . thanksWhat size air compressor to use with air roof nail gun?
I own two Bostitch RN46-1 roof guns.





My compressor is a 110 volt 2 hp 4.4 CFM. I can run two guns at the same time and always have enough air.





I use 115 lb working pressure setting.





Why you can't run one gun I don't know.








If your roofing for a living. Go with a 110 volt other wise it's going to be hard to plug in at any work site with 220 volt.





Have you gun checked out.


I'm a builder 30 years I do it all day every day more than i want to.

Are you sure its 7 and not 0.7 cfm ?? 7 is a lot!!!


90 psi is easy... any compressor beyond something just to fill tires will get there.





I don't have a roofing gun, but I have a framing gun, and several finish nail guns - all of which will work with stuff available at the Depot.





Larger tank size is nice to have... keeps compressor from cycling off and on so often, but not necessary... depends on the duty cycle and type of use you will put it through.
