What size nail would i use on an air nailer to nail two 2by4's together?

Sounds like you are looking at or have a brad or finish nailer. most finish nailers can use up to 2 1/2 inches this is the minimum size nail you should use. this and liquid nail should work in most application.





you should really be using a framing nailer. with 2 1/2 - 3 inch nails.





2x4's are 1 1/2 inches thick you should penetrate at least an inch
