What size stainless rink shank nails should I use for redwood 4';x1/2'; siding when I'm attaching it straight to the studs without any plywood sheathing? This is on a 1920's home and we are restoring/replacing some bad siding but won't be adding any plywood sheathing underneath. That will be plenty of nail in the stud.
