My toads are the size of a nail. What am i supposed to feed them? They refuse to eat insects. What else to do?

I have about ten, i tried baby dragonflies, worms, ladybugs, and butterflies. They wont eat any of it! They are the size of my thumb or pinky nail, and just lost their tail from being a TADPOLE. So, please give me the most accurate answer you can!My toads are the size of a nail. What am i supposed to feed them? They refuse to eat insects. What else to do?
Toads will generally eat any live, moving prey that will fit into their mouths. The insects you mentioned are all too large.

Tiny toads eat tiny insects- lots of them. If you intend to raise ten of them, they will keep you very, very, busy gathering food!

However, yours won't eat; if they JUST absorbed their tails, their mouths might not be formed enough to consume insects.

Or, you may not be keeping them correctly, in which case I suggest you research proper toad care.

Baby toads are not good beginner pets. It might be best if you release them where you found them. It is very unlikely that you will be able to keep them alive, certainly not all ten.My toads are the size of a nail. What am i supposed to feed them? They refuse to eat insects. What else to do?
Start raising fruit flies. If you leave a piece of melon rind out where they can get at it, you will attract them and they may lay eggs. Banana is good bait as well. Be prepared to have the flies all over the house, though.
If all else fails, let them go; they'll do fine on thier own. Catch bigger ones next time.
